Opportunities for Adults and Parents to Get Involved

Volunteer Leader

Volunteer leaders are absolutely vital to the mission of Young Life. It is their involvement that allows lives to be changed. Young Life volunteer leaders participate in a full range of activities that help them build these significant relationships with kids. Each Young Life area has a different process for becoming a Young Life leader. If you are interested in volunteering for Young Life, contact the Young Life office nearest you, and the local staff will be able to help you learn more about how Young Life works in your community. Committee Member

Members of a Young Life committee are adults who are committed to providing every kid in their community the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ in terms they can understand. Committee members pray for Young Life, promote the ministry in the community, care for the local staff and volunteer leaders, as well as ensure the financial health of the ministry. Roles at Young Life Camps

Many adults are introduced to Young Life when they visit a camp. Adult guest hosts are needed to host small groups of these adults who are new to Young Life and/or the camp experience. They stay in a beautiful adult guest lodge and help other adult guests get to know Young Life. Doctors and nurses are also needed at camps during the summer to provide care to campers, staff and volunteer leaders.
